The following paper seeks to stress the importance of the corn to the Mexican people, which over
the years has managed to maintain their identity not in vain by force and majesty of their traditions and customs. It is true that today is the staple food for many families throughout the territory of Mexico, in every home at the time of lunch, dinner and even afternoon snack, corn is present in a variety of ways, textures and colors. This makes us think what would become of the holidays in Mexico without the presence of corn, year after year are carried out all over the territory?
