Segunda residencia y residencia móvil en España

This paper summarizes the approach and the main results of a research on second homes in Spain, in relation to changes in spatial mobility of contemporary societies. First, it presents a description of the research object, insisting on its inclusion within broader mobility flows, which have important effects on the social structure. Second, it briefly refers to the most salient aspects of the empirical research design. Finally, it identifies the key findings and new questions that have arisen, focusing on the importance of second homes to explain the socio-territorial processes in Spain.
